EDIT 235 relates research on learning and instructional design to the practice and development of self-paced instruction. Particular attention will be given to the development of technology based instruction, multimedia learning, learner self-efficacy, motivation, meta-cognition, and self direction.
Students will draft two types of self-paced learning projects and choose one for further
development. Students should have completed EDIT 226 before attempting this class. Some class periods will be "production days" in which assignments may be worked on during the class period in a lab setting. Students should also have completed EDIT 122, the computer competency test, or demonstrate basic computer skills to the instructor.
