Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society

Sebastian Sutjipto is a Psychology major with a Music minor who began his studies at Skyline College, where he co-founded the Indonesian Student Association and served as president of Psi Beta. Born and raised in Indonesia, he grew up in a musical household and, through community service, developed a passion for mental health advocacy. After graduating summa cum laude, he transferred to San José State University in Fall 2024, where he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and Psi Chi and recognized as a President’s Scholar. Combining his interests in psychology and music, Sebastian aspires to pursue a future in music therapy.

Kelly Marquez

2025 Anna Lambourne Scholarship

Kelly Marquez is a Doctoral student in Educational Leadership at San José State University. She holds an M.A. in Emancipatory School Leadership from SJSU and a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Spanish from CSU Fullerton. Her dissertation explores how school libraries can support math literacy by fostering teacher-librarian collaboration to expand STEM pathways for young learners. A 2025 Anna Lambourne Scholarship recipient, Kelly is dedicated to advancing her research and giving back to her community.

2024 PKP-SJSU Initiation Ceremony

The 2024 ceremony honoring new initiates took place on April 25, 2024, at 3:00 pm in the Student Union Theater. The event included a small reception and certificate distribution.
