Welcome to the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department!
We offer degree programs at both undergraduate (Bachelor of Science) and graduate (Master of Science) in Civil Engineering.
Civil engineers plan, design and supervise construction of water supply and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, highways, bridges, buildings, drinking water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and help solve local and regional pollution problems. They design and test structures that probe the limit of knowledge from the frontiers of space to the ocean depth.
