Use of Student Feedback

Online instruction is improved by taking into account student feedback. Therefore, online instructors should offer opportunities for students to give feedback on course content, assessment, and online instruction . In addition, instructor should offer opportunities for students to give feedback on ease of online technology . The instructor should use formal and informal student feedback in an ongoing basis to help plan instruction and assessment of student learning throughout the semester.

• Qualtrics
  Qualtrics is an online survey tool that instructors can use to quickly put together online surveys, distribute the survey to students, collect online responses from students online, and view the results.
  
  
• Canvas Assignments
  The Assignments feature in Canvas allows faculty to have students submit their feedback assignment via our LMS.
  
  
• SOTEs
  Student Opinion on Teaching Effectiveness feedback is required for all online classes. The instructor should actively incorporate feedback received from SOTEs as necessary.
