Commencement represents the culmination of everything we're about; providing a world-class educational journey for our students. Come celebrate with our Graduates as they complete a major milestone in their academic journey.

Check out the various ways you may participate in SJSU Commencement.

Participation Type	Description
Ambassador (SJSU Staff, Faculty, and Students)	Sign-up information is not yet available. Celebrate our Graduates by providing event support. Shifts are 2-3 hours in length. You will receive needed training for your role at the beginning of your shift. No preliminary meeting or training is needed.
Platform Party (invite only)	Platform Party participation is by invite only. Platform Party includes faculty representing the University and respective College for each ceremony.
Faculty Processional (Faculty only)	Contact your College Dean's office to attend. Faculty of each Commencement's respective College(s) may participate in the Faculty Processional. To ensure enough seats are reserved, RSVP no later than two (2) weeks before the first Commencement Ceremony.
