Peer Mentorship
Peer Mentorship Program:
The graduate advising team at the Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) runs a Peer Mentorship Program for first semester graduate students coming into the College.
Our mission is to facilitate meaningful connections and foster community so that students can grow, learn from each other, and build long-lasting relationships.
The ESSC Peer Mentorship Program is inclusive of all domestic and international graduate engineering students, in regular and special session programs, and matches new students with volunteer graduate student mentors in the same academic program or related disciplines with aligned goals and interests.
Our dedicated volunteer mentors commit to one semester as a Peer Mentor, meet regularly with their mentees to help them set goals for the term and track their progress, and share appropriate resources as appropriate.
