Stock Gift Transfer Letter

Stock gifts can be transferred electronically into the San José State account by using the following stock gift transfer letter: RBC Wealth Management [PDF]. Please send the stock gift transfer letter (completed and signed) to your broker, as well as a copy to SJSU to assist with the recognition of your gift:

Receipt for Gift

A gift receipt will be sent to you after we receive confirmation of the stock transfer from San José State's broker.

Gift Purpose

SJSU's broker will liquidate stocks immediately and send the check to the university. The check will be deposited and credited to the gift account you have designated, or credited to the school/program where you intended the gift to be used.
