Study Spaces 

Lounge

Students are welcome to utilize our study lounge at any time during our operational hours. We have plenty of tables that can seat up to four students, as well as a computer bar that is suitable for independent study. 

Conference Room 

Looking for a private room to study, attend a Zoom class, or host a group project meeting? Reserve our conference room! Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis in 1-hour time blocks at the top of every hour. Students may reserve up to four hours at a time. Please note that the conference room is unavailable when we are hosting events or having our staff meetings.

Finals Study Jams 

During finals week, Mosaic is open for extended hours until 8PM Monday-Thursday and until 7PM on Friday. We often have snacks, coffee & tea, and a de-stressing activity available during our study jams! Please check our Instagram to keep updated on our upcoming study jams! 

Free Printing 

We offer free printing to SJSU students! Students may print up to 10 pages per day in either color or black and white. Simply come to Mosaic during our operational hours and ask the front desk for a print, then they will direct you on how to send us the documents you need printed.

• What can I print at Mosaic? 

  • Anything you need! However, we kindly ask that files printed at Mosaic are related to school work, club activities, or campus employment and/or internships. 

    Mosaic staff reserves the right to deny printing services if we deem the files inappropriate. 

• What is considered "10 pages" ?

  • 10 pages means a 10-page file or document. If you are printing single sided, it will be 10 physical pages. If you are printing double sided, it will be 5 physical pages. 

    For example, if you send us a 20 page document and you print it front & back, you will have 10 physical pages. However, this counts as 20 pages and is over the limit. 

• Why only 10 pages? 

  • Our resources are limited and we want to ensure that as many students can utilize this useful resource as possible. The ten page per day limit allows us to support as many students as we can! 

• Can my friend send my file if I reach the limit for the day?

  • No, please do not have friends send your files for you if you reach the limit.

    While we may not knowif you are printing for a friend, we hope you respect our policy of ten prints per day per student. Come back the next day and we can print more for you! 

• Can I print in color?

  • Yes! 

• What kind of paper do you print on?

  • Standard 8.5x11 copy paper. 

    We can also print 11x17. 

• Can I bring my own special paper?

  • No. We have other forms of colored copy paper and light cardstock if you need, but due to our printer's sensitivity to certain materials, we will only use paper purchased by Mosaic ProStaff. 

Testing Materials 

We offer free scantrons and blue books during midterms and finals season! Come by, sign in, and ask front desk staff. Students may recieve up to one free scantron per day, subject to availability.

If we run out of free testing materials, the Spartan Bookstore is conveniently located across from our center!
