Over the course of academic years, the President may solicit nominations for a variety of advisory committees or task forces with specific charges to focus on key topics, issues or areas integral to the regular operations of the university. These groups may be ad hoc or standing entities charged with providing guidance for the administration's decision-making. The Future of Humanity and Society

The Future of Humanity and Society framework is an actionable initiative to shape collective learning as students confront new experiences, tensions, and differing perspectives. Through a series of events, we aim to blend our academic programs and the student experience with a compassionate, belonging-centered approach to equip our students and leaders for the challenges facing their lives, our democratic society, and our humanity.

Interfaith Task Force

The Interfaith Task Force at San Jose State University (SJSU) is established to explore and address the diverse expressions of religious, secular, and spiritual identities and worldviews within our campus community. The task force aims to enhance inclusivity, support, and understanding of these identities.
