Virtru - Launching for SJSU Gmail and Google Drive

Virtru is the new, free encryption tool available to all SJSU users of Gmail and Google Drive. When you log back into Google suite products, you will receive a prompt to activate Virtru. This is legitimate and all users are required to confirm activation to use these software programs.

Staff Spotlight: IT Team Sparta Award
The Network Design and Installation team for Spartan Village on the Paseo delivered a fully designed and built network infrastructure within a tight seven-month deadline. Thanks to their work SVP was ready for students with hundreds of WiFi APs, thousands of patch cables, 128 security cameras, and much more. The 2024 Sparta Award is presented to Nicholas Cappelloni, Tino Cruz, Kelly Deaver, Trevor Florez, Pauline Garingan, Brent Jones, Matt Lord, Mark Tran, Tam Vu, Rong Wang.
