The Lurie College of Education has been a central partner in the Undergraduate Research
Opportunity Program (UROP) since the program’s inaugural year in 2021–22. This forum
celebrates that partnership by highlighting the interdisciplinary research of LCoE
faculty and their UROP student mentees, showcasing the breadth of undergraduate research
across campus and the collaborative mentorship that supports it.

Join the SJSU Library for a research showcase honoring the themes of Black Maternal Health Week (April 11–17). Originally founded by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance (BMMA), this
week centers the voices and lived experiences of Black birthing people to advocate
for reproductive and birth justice.
While not an official BMMA event, our showcase aims to highlight SJSU research that
aligns with these movements and honors the work of activists driving cultural shift
and equity.

Award winner will be honored, and students will present over 80 posters characterizing

21st College of Science Student Research Day (SRD21)

Up to 100 posters describing research conducted by SJSU students working with College
of Science faculty from all Departments will be presented. The student researchers
will present the results of their work and be available to answer questions.
Calling all faculty and students... Are you interested in community engaged research? The Community Engaged Research Cluster
(CERC) and the CHHS Center for Applied Research on Human Services (CAHRS) are hosting
a series of community conversations to share models, develop shared principles of
community engaged research, and learn from community voices.
