Undergraduate Advising and Success (UAS) fosters growth through scholarly inquiry for every undergraduate student at San José State University.
UAS Commitment Statement
San José State University students and the undergraduate advising and success team, work to establish positive and collaborative relationships for personalized, holistic, and transformative learning experiences. Advising
You can schedule an appointment with an advisor through Spartan Connect. Review our Advising Services for College of Science students for more information.
Spartan Connect Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your appointment one hour or less before your scheduled appointment with an advisor, you will be marked as a “no-show”.
If you have three or more no-shows within the last 120 days. You cannot schedule appointments in Spartan Connect on your own.
It is your responsibility, as the student, to manage your schedule and cancel appointments at least an hour in advance to avoid no-shows.
If you have exceeded the number of no-shows permitted to schedule an appointment contact CoS-SSC (science-advisingcenter@sjsu.edu) for assistance.

Determine Your Units Earned
- Generate an Unofficial Transcript in your PeopleSoft (MySJSU) account.
- Scroll to the bottom of the generated unofficial transcript
- Follow the "ALL COLLEGE" row to the "UE" column to identify your units earned
Your units earned will not include the units you are currently in progress of completing.
