Field Education Calendar
REMINDER- Students may not Intern on days that the campus is closed. This is related
to the University’s Risk Management Policy and Student Liability.
San José State University is closed on the following dates during the 2025-2026 school year:
- Labor Day - September 1st, 2025
- Veterans Day- November 11th, 2025
- Thanksgiving Holiday- November 27th, 2025
- Rescheduled Holiday- November 28th, 2025
- Winter Break- December 25th, 2025 through January 1st, 20026
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day- January 19th, 2026
- Cesar Chavez Day (observed)- March 31st 2026
Students may intern during the University's Spring break as the campus is open. However, we encourage Students to take their break (or some sort of break if their agency is a school and the spring break dates do not coincide with SJSU’s).
