Who We Are

Tower building 1892

Our History

Completed in 1924, Tower Hall is one of the most iconic buildings on the SJSU campus. Designed in the Spanish Revival style, it features a 105-foot bell tower with a clock and chimes. Originally the university's administration building, it now houses the President's Office and other administrative functions. Listed as a San José Historic Resource, Tower Hall has undergone renovations to preserve its historical charm while meeting modern needs. It remains a symbol of SJSU’s rich history and legacy.
