Advancing CSU and SJSU Goals through UROP

UROP aligns directly with important University and CSU strategic goals. The program parallels SJSU’s Transformation 2030 learning goals, particularly goals #1, 3, and 4 (i.e., Engage and Educate, Grow and Thrive, and Connect and Contribute). UROP also complements the CSU’s established equity goals to prioritize student success in its Graduation Initiative 2025, particularly priorities #1, 2, and 5 (Re-engage and Re-enroll Underserved Students, Expand Credit Opportunities, and Promote Equitable Learning Practices and Reduce DFW Rates).
