Background
Friederike Bruehoefener serves as the Assistant Vice Provost for the Center for Faculty Excellence and Teaching Innovation. Working closely with the CFETI team, she oversees the Center’s programming aimed at supporting all faculty—including lecturers, tenure-track and tenured faculty, as well as department chairs and directors—at any career stage.
While, by training, a historian of Modern Germany—holding a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill—with a special focus on gender, political, and new military history, Dr. Bruehoefener has significant experience working with faculty, staff, and administrators across disciplines, departments, and colleges.
