AI Digital Literacy Certificate Program
The Spring, 2025 cohort of the AI Digital Literacy Certificate Program has concluded. Please check back for future offerings!
What will your students say when asked the following questions in a job interview?
- How do you use AI tools in your everyday workflow?
- How do you responsibly and ethically use AI?
They’ll need to show they can use it ethically and responsibly and show how it assists them to be more productive, innovative and that they can think critically, thoughtfully, and work together with the AI to achieve their particular goals.
This program contains concise guidance for SJSU faculty on how to build students’ digital literacy skills and prepare them for future success. You’ll read articles and watch videos to inspire your approach in your classes. From general guidance, specific activities to checklists you can modify for your own uses.
You will have the opportunity to review many examples of learning activities utilizing AI. The activities are organized according to the assistance or integration that AI provides. Consider how you might utilize AI for a student activity in one of your courses.
