Our Mission
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Computer Engineering Department at San José State University (SJSU), serves more than 2000 undergraduate and graduate students, and is a leader in engineering education, by offering nationally accredited bachelor’s and master’s degrees that combine rigorous theoretical foundations with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities. We champion cutting-edge research and innovation, partnering closely with local and global technology leaders, government and non-profit partners to offer programs in computer and software engineering, and artificial intelligence.
