Paycheck Deductions

If you’ve never worked before, you might not know that taxes are withheld on each and every dollar that you make. 

If you live and work in California, you will see deductions for Federal Tax withholding, Social Security, Medicare, State Disability Insurance, and a withholding for State Taxes. Depending on the state or the city you live in, you may see other deductions.
