What is the difference between regular and special session?
Regular session students and Special session students pay different fee structures and have access to different financial aid awards.
Regular Session
Regular session students are billed on a flat rate basis based on enrollment of 1-6 units or 7+ units. Campus fees are also required for regular session students. Out of state and international students may also pay out of state fees. See the Bursar's office for more information.
Special Session
Special session students are billed on a per unit basis and generally do not pay campus fees. Special session students are not eligible for the State University Grant or Cal Grant.
A list of special session programs can be found on the College of Professional and Global Education website
