Give to SJSU HDCC

SJSU HDCC is one of Lurie College’s most recent points of major innovation for its dual purpose of service and training. As with many innovative ventures, there is a cost attached that creates a barrier to success. While we proactively apply for government and philanthropic funding, the ever-revolving door of expenses associated with providing large-scale free community services and screenings along with free food and snacks, free health supplies kits, and free program supplies (e.g., art supplies, books) adds up. Additionally, supporting core staff including graduate and undergraduate students who maintain community partnerships, promote services, coordinate services and event preparation, and manage administration is crucial to carrying out this work. To sustain and expand HDCC’s impactful work, we rely on continued support from generous partners who share our vision of equitable community service and training.
