In a confidential setting, you’ll gain insight into your experiences, strengthen coping and communication skills, and set meaningful goals for personal growth and well-being.

Who is able to receive counseling?

Counseling can be provided to people of all ages and backgrounds. Children, youth, adults, parents, caregivers, and families may receive counseling (individual or group). Services are designed to meet the unique cultural, developmental, and identity-specific needs of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

What is the modality of mental health counseling?

Services are available via Zoom.

Do I need health insurance?

No, you do not need health insurance to receive services in this program. Our goal is to remove barriers so that youth and caregivers can access mental health support without worrying about insurance, co-pays, or out-of-pocket expenses. If you have insurance, you’re still welcome to receive care. If you would like to support mental health counseling, you may donate to help us continue offering barrier-free care to youth and adults.

How long will I be able to receive services?

Counseling in this program is short-term, generally 6-8 sessions over the span of a limited number of weeks or months. Treatment is designed to focus on your most important goals and to learn tools that will support you in these goals.

What if I need more services?

If longer-term support is needed, we will help you connect to ongoing services in the community.

Who provides the clinical counseling services?

Services are provided by graduate student counseling trainees who are closely supervised by a licensed professional.
