Parent & Family Orientation

We welcome parents and family members to participate in Parent and Family Orientation — an optional opportunity to learn more about SJSU and discover how you can support your student’s success. We offer tailored orientation programs for families of both first-year and transfer students.

While at orientation, you will learn and talk about: 

• Information on class registration and paying bills
• SJSU traditions and culture
• Academic requirements
• Housing & dining options
• Health & wellness
• University Police
• SJSU policies & procedures

*Note: Parents/Family may only sign up for the same session their student is attending.

This is the Parent/Family Orientation payment website ONLY. Your student must submit their Intent to Enroll and register for their mandatory orientation date separately through the Next Steps process here.
