Federal agencies including the NSF, NIH, DoD, USDA, and DOE are mandating Research Security training under the framework of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 and National Security Presidential Memorandum-33 (NSPM-33).

  • Visit the CITI website.

  • After you have created an account with CITI using your SJSU email address, select San Jose State University Courses.

  • Click on "add a course or update learner groups."

  • Answer the questions provided to determine which courses are applicable to you.  Research Security is at the bottom and the "Combined Course" satisfies the new requirement
