Below is a list of important forms for music majors, including four-year plans and major forms. If you do not see the form you need on this list, please contact the Music Office at (408) 924-4673.
Forms must be filled in, printed and submitted to an academic advisor to take affect.

- Conducting - Choral

Master’s degree students in choral conducting are required to complete twelve units of “Core” coursework, which consists of four graduate-level seminar classes. These seminar classes are required of each degree program, but substitutions may be acceptable where applicable. Other course requirements include six units of Chamber Choir and Advanced Conducting, six units of area electives (see chart here [pdf]), and six units of private lessons.

Master’s degree students in instrumental conducting are required to complete twelve units of “Core” coursework, which consists of four graduate-level seminar classes. These seminar classes are required of each degree program, but substitutions may be acceptable where applicable. Other course requirements [pdf] include five units of Wind Ensemble/ Orchestra and Advanced Conducting, six units of private lessons, and a graduate recital.
