Invitation to the 63rd Honors Convocation

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Please join me, President Teniente-Matson, Senate Chair Sasikumar, and the deans in celebrating the outstanding achievements of our undergraduate students at the 63rd Honors Convocation on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Provident Credit Union Event Center.

This year, we will recognize 2,782 President’s Scholars who have achieved a 4.0 GPA, representing the top 10% of undergraduates at SJSU. The ceremony will feature our 2024-25 Outstanding Professor as the keynote speaker.

University policy calls for our campus to celebrate those receiving honors and faculty should be there to show strong support for these remarkable students. There will be photo opportunities at the end of the ceremony, and faculty should stick around to socialize and take photos with students.

Please RSVP by April 7, 2025, to confirm your attendance. Attire for the event is business casual, and faculty regalia will not be worn.
