and fast-paced event where graduate students present their research in 3 minutes and
with one slide to a non-specialist audience. Your contribution can make a big difference.

Carrie Bowers, '2018 MS Meteorology, is the recipient of the 2019 Outstanding Thesis
Award.
The College of Graduate Studies (CGS) Dean’s Fund provides support for important activities
related to graduate education at SJSU that are not supported in the college budget.
This includes support for graduate students, staff, alumni, and faculty for activities
that promote or advance graduate education.
