The goal of the California State University Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP) is to increase the number of faculty with the qualifications, motivation, and skills needed to teach the diverse students of the CSU. CDIP prepares promising doctoral students for CSU faculty positions by providing financial support, mentorship by CSU faculty and professional development and grant resources. It is the largest program of its kind in the U.S.
Interested students may apply directly to the Chancellor’s Office by the deadline of February 15, 2025. We will post the application link here when it becomes available.
The College of Graduate Studies is happy to assist you with your application and review your materials prior to submission if you desire, although this is not required. The deadline for your application review is February 1, 2025.
Contact our CDIP Campus Coordinator, Dr. Jeffrey Honda (jeffrey.honda@sjsu.edu) if you are interested in this program, or would like an application review.
