Mindful Teaching Award
The CFETI Mindful Teaching and Learning Award was established in 2023 by longtime CFETI employee Elizabeth Tu to recognize faculty who incorporate mindfulness practice into the university classroom.
Mindfulness has profound benefits for student well-being, focus, and academic success. Each year we select two awardees, who receive a $1,000 stipend or $1,000 in professional development funds. In exchange, they contribute to our growing collection of effective strategies for engaging students in these practices.
